Our comprehensive assessment services are designed for all elementary-aged students and struggling middle/high school students. Each student’s needs are unique, which is why we tailor our assessments to fit their specific academic levels and challenges.
Initial Consultation
During our initial, free consultation, we will discuss your child’s current academic performance and challenges. Based on this conversation, I will recommend the most appropriate assessments to address their specific needs. This personalized approach ensures that we focus precisely on the areas where your child requires the most support, making the process as effective as possible.
Pricing Details/Assessment Options
During our initial consultation, I will gather some info that will help me determine which assessments I feel are best. But just to give you a little breakdown.
The numeracy assessment is great for early learners or those several years behind academically, where the Adaptive ADAM assessment is a great diagnostic tool for students in 3rd grade or above and are a little behind or on target academically.
For reading, I would suggest the Reading Readiness Assessment for my young readers who are just starting to learn to read or those who are several years behind in reading. The Cube 3 Reading Assessment is more diagnostic and comprehensive but it does take quite a bit longer than the Reading Readiness Assessment. We can discuss the pros and cons of each during our consultation. Whereas the DORA adaptive diagnostic assessment is great for students who have already "broken the code" for the English language.
Math Assessments
Hands 0n Numeracy Assessment

Initial Math Assessment Cost: $75 plus the standard cost of one session

Includes: A focused assessment on the current unit of study such as numeracy skills, multiplication, fractions, or word problems. This price includes both the time for the assessment (30 minutes to 1 hour) and the compilation of a detailed report. A follow-up meeting (up to 30 minutes) to discuss the results and plan is also included.

Subsequent Math Assessments Cost: $25 each plus the cost of a standard session

Includes: Each subsequent math assessment includes the assessment and a comprehensive report. These assessments do not automatically include a meeting; however, additional consultation can be requested and will be billed at Ms. Susan's normal hourly rate.
ADAP Adaptive Diagnostic Assessment

Cost: $75 plus the standard cost of one session (If the student needs more time for the assessment, a second session would need to be purchased (at a discounted rate).

Includes: A complete adaptive diagnostic assessment, which is taken on the computer. The assessment usually lasts one full session but more time may be needed. The price includes the assessment plus a detailed report and a follow up meeting (up to 30 mins) to discuss the results.
Reading Assessments
Reading Readiness Assessment:

Cost: $75 plus the cost of a standard session

Includes: A reading assessment lasting 30-45 mins, which will break down students strengths and weaknesses in regards to reading fluency. The price covers the assessment itself and the analysis of findings to guide instruction. A follow up meeting (up to 30 minutes) to discuss findings and what all will be necessary in order to ensure the success of your child in our reading program, is also included
DORA Adaptive Diagnostic

Cost: $75 plus the cost of a standard session

Includes: A computerized, adaptive reading assessment, which takes 1-2 sessions (so an additional session may need to be purchased at a discounted rate), a detailed diagnostic report and a meeting (up to 30 min) to discuss the results.
CUBED 3 Reading Assessment:

Cost: $275
-
Includes: A detailed reading assessment lasting 1.5-2 hours (which can be spread over the course of 2 sessions), depending on the student's needs. The price covers the assessment itself and the compilation of a detailed report of the findings. This is followed by a 30-minute meeting where Ms. Susan reviews the results, provide recommendations, and helps you plan the next steps.

When you opt in for the CUBED 3 reading assessment, the reading readiness assessment will also be given at no addiitonal cost.
Combined Reading Readiness OR DORA AND Math Numeracy OR ADAM Assessments:

Initial Cost: $425 for both reading assessments and the first math assessment.

Subsequent Math Assessments: $125 each for the remaining three math assessments.

Includes: Comprehensive assessments conducted on separate days to minimize student fatigue. The initial cost covers the assessments, the compilation of detailed reports for both reading and math, and one comprehensive meeting after all results are compiled. Subsequent math assessments include the assessment and report compilation.
